Hello, I am Adrian Duncan, a graphic and web designer of 2 years. I’m also a New Media Design and Web Development graduate from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
I grew up in a small village in Scotland United Kingdom but decided to move across the pond to Vancouver, BC in search of better opportunities and a better life. I discovered my interest in graphic and web design after taking a course at Lighthouse Labs boot camp. From then on I’ve had a passion for creating both traditional and digital art through illustration, graphic design, and photography.

The ability to create and build stuff is why I got into web design. The process of being creative is very empowering to me. Being able to build user engagements and help someone design and communicate their brand are things that I’m very passionate about. I have experience with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and have used various coding languages.
To help create meaningful interactions with visual communications and artistic expressions, graphic design is a huge passion of mine. I have expertise skills in multiple Adobe creative suite tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and After Effects.
As a media student at BCIT, I discovered the power of video storytelling. I always liked to take part in video production as it helped me gain more confidence and learn how to communicate with people more effectively. Some of my projects consist of promotional videos, advertising videos, and motion graphics created using Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
In my free time, you can find me watching and playing sports, taking photographs, shooting video production or enjoying the outdoors with my lovely dog and girlfriend.
I absolutely love travelling. The excitement of feeling like an explorer. Going into the unknown, seeing something different and new is fascinating to me. My girlfriend and I have visited many countries around Europe and plan on doing a trip around Asia soon.
I’m very passionate about self-development and personal growth. To keep learning new things every day and enhancing my skills. I love to read books and also watch educational and motivational videos on YouTube.
Exercising is a big factor in my life. I believe in the saying health is wealth and staying fit and healthy keeps me motivated to strive for more. It also helps build self-esteem. I go to boxing and MMA classes as well as the gym to lift weights throughout the week. I also love to go cycling in the summer and snowboarding in the winter.
Forex trading is another passion of mine. I have been trading in the forex market since 2016 and it’s a great way to build another stream of income.
